Third Thursday Colloquy #014
How do you reach a place of satisfaction and move on to the next project?
In an ironic twist at the end of 2016, our final colloquy regarding the creative process was cancelled. We have rescheduled and ask you to join us for COMPLETE.
Janalyn Li Steele ()
Katie Greenway ()
Janalyn is a screenwriter who feels passionately about diversity. Janalyn has written, directed and produced two short films. She’s also written for Mosaic, Inland Empire Magazine, and Earth’s Daughters. Janalyn taught English literature at the University of California, Riverside. She has worked as an assistant at Smallville, Chuck and Frantic Films. She wrote sketches for the CBS Diversity Showcase. Janalyn was a Second Rounder in the Austin Film Festival in 2015 for a television spec.
Katie is an LA-based comedy writer by way of Wisconsin. Katie began her career in the United Talent Agency mailroom (and has the anxiety disorder to prove it). She later served as assistant to writer/producer Danielle Sanchez-Witzel and then as assistant to showrunner Greg Garcia on CBS’s The Millers. She hopes to someday be half as hilarious as they are. In true sitcom fashion, Katie landed her first writing job after getting stuck on a balcony while housesitting. Most recently, Katie served as a staff writer for Nickelodeon’s Bella and the Bulldogs, inspiring little girls everywhere to become the next Aaron Rodgers.
